At StreamSCAPES, we are dedicated to building an evidence-based roadmap for the sustainable climate transition of the European VOD sector. As part of our ongoing research, we are proud to highlight our collaboration with our consortium partner, Viaplay, to better understand the intersection of environmental sustainability and user streaming habits.
Led by the Media Governance and Industries Research Lab at the University of Vienna, this academic study compares user perspectives with the strategic insights of industry actors and policymakers. This cross-sector approach is essential to identify the challenges and opportunities within the current audiovisual ecosystem.
